With so many news stories, it’s understandable to be concerned about the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Please know that the precautions we already takes every day to prevent the spread of infection in our practice also helps prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We have been advised by the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and the CDC to only treat emergencies from March 17- April 7, 2020. We will be amending our office hours during the time.
We will be open Monday-Wednesday 9 am- 1 pm and Thursdays from 1-5 pm, these office hours will be begin on Tuesday March 17 and end on Tuesday April 7.
If you are ill with flu-like symptoms, you should reschedule your appointment.
If you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (China, Italy, Iran, South Korea or Europe) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution, wait 14 days until you see your dentist to make sure you have not caught the coronavirus.
Please visit the American Dental Association's page on infection control at the dental office for further information and a link to the CDC's website. Link is below:
